A gunfight broke out between two groups after a wedding in Mardin. During the horrific events, 20-year-old Muhammed Angay lost his life, while two others were injured.

According to DHA, the fight occurred at night in the Mezopotamya neighborhood of Kızıltepe district. A dispute arose between a group returning home from a wedding and those passing by in a pickup truck, for reasons yet unknown.

The argument escalated into a gunfight. Muhammed Angay, R.A., and S.A. were injured by bullets fired from a handgun.

Those in the pickup truck fled the scene, and medical and police teams were dispatched to the area following a report. It was determined that Muhammed Angay had died. R.A. was taken to Kızıltepe State Hospital, and S.A. was taken to Mardin Training and Research Hospital.

It was stated that the injured were not in life-threatening condition. Muhammed Angay's body was taken to the morgue for autopsy. Police teams launched an operation to apprehend the suspects who fled in a pickup truck after the incident.
