He stated that developments regarding the management of foot-and-mouth disease remain worrying, and that the Cheese Producers Association is in constant contact with the relevant state authorities. Koulorus expressed their readiness to do their part, noting that there has been no change in the situation regarding cheese production in the last week or two. He stated that their concerns will continue until the disease is eradicated, and that they are focusing on the potential milk shortage due to animal culling. Finally, Koulorus stated that they are in contact with the Ministry of Agriculture to carry out the necessary activities to protect halloumi production and exports.
