The accident occurred in the Batıkent neighborhood of Tepebaşı district. A car with license plate 26 AKS 150, driven by T.U.Ö. (46), collided with a light commercial vehicle with license plate 26 AHD 389, driven by E.S. (15). The light commercial vehicle, after being thrown off course, crashed into a street light pole. H.D.T. (15), who was a passenger in the vehicle, was injured. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. After initial treatment, the injured H.D.T. was taken by ambulance to Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine Hospital for treatment.
During the police check, it was determined that the driver E.S. was under 18 years of age, while the other driver, T.U.Ö., was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.43 promille.

Driver E.S. was fined 43,718 lira for driving without a license, endangering traffic, and failing to take necessary precautions at the accident scene, while his father, the vehicle owner, was fined 40,000 lira.
The other driver, T.U.Ö., was fined 33,431 lira for driving under the influence of alcohol, endangering traffic, failing to take necessary precautions at the accident scene, and using an old-style driver's license. Additionally, the driver's license was suspended for six months, and the vehicle, which was determined to belong to the company, was impounded and towed away. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
