The suspect husband who shot and killed his wife has been taken into custody

A domestic dispute in Buca, Izmir, ended in bloodshed. The suspect husband, who shot and killed his wife, was taken into custody.

An argument broke out between Çetin Ç. (44) and his wife Nurcan Ç. (39), who lived on the ground floor of a three-story building in the Çamlıpınar neighborhood of Buca district, for reasons yet unknown.

SHE LOST HER LIFE

During the altercation, Çetin Ç. shot his wife with a gun, injuring her. Following a report from neighbors, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. According to AA news agency, Nurcan Ç. was found dead.

The body of the mother of two was taken to the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. The murder suspect, who fled after the incident, was apprehended by police teams in the Karabağlar district.
