KNIFE FIGHT THAT LEFT A 15-YEAR-OLD KILLER CAUGHT ON CAMERA

Security camera footage has emerged of the knife fight in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, in which 15-year-old Abdülbaki Demirel lost his life. Two suspects, aged 16 and 17, who were detained in connection with the incident, were arrested by the court.

The incident occurred on May 10th, around 8:00 PM, in the Şehit Sadık Bezer Park in the Muratçeşme neighborhood of Büyükçekmece district. Allegedly, an argument broke out between two groups for an unknown reason.

The argument quickly escalated into a knife fight. Abdülbaki Demirel (15) and Savaş I. (15) were stabbed and injured in the fight.

ABDÜLBAKI, WHO WAS SEVERELY INJURED, LOST HIS LIFE

Following reports from bystanders, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that Abdülbaki Demirel and Savaş I. were severely injured and they were taken to the hospital by ambulance. According to DHA news agency; Abdülbaki Demirel, who was taken to the hospital for treatment, could not be saved despite all the doctors' efforts. It was learned that Savaş I.'s treatment is ongoing.

Police teams, who examined the surrounding security cameras, quickly identified the suspects who fled. E.B. and M.A.D., who were determined to have been involved in the fight, were taken into custody along with the knife believed to have been used in the incident.

2 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
E.B. (16) and M.A.D. (17), whose procedures at the police station were completed, were arrested by the court to which they were referred and sent to prison.
