SHE WON THE CASE AFTER HER BABY WAS TAKEN FROM HER TWO HOURS AFTER BIRTH

SHE WON THE CASE AFTER HER BABY WAS TAKEN FROM HER TWO HOURS AFTER BIRTH

In Denmark, a court has issued a striking ruling in the case of Keira Alexandra Kronvold, a Greenlander living in Denmark, whose newborn baby was forcibly taken from her by Danish authorities.

The high court ruled that placing Kronvold's daughter, Zammi, with foster care just two hours after birth was illegal. The court also determined that the tests used on Kronvold were "outdated."

**SCANDALOUS TEST**
Kronvold's baby was taken from her by the state in November 2024, just two hours after birth. The ruling cited the use of a parental competency test called "FKU."

The Greenlander woman stated that she was told at the time that these tests were conducted "to determine if she was sufficiently civilized."

**TESTS BANNED IN DENMARK**
The Danish government banned the scandalous practice, which had drawn criticism both domestically and internationally for years, last May.

Despite the change in the law, many Greenlandic families who were previously subjected to these tests continue to live separated from their children.

It is stated that the decision in the Kronvold case could set a precedent for many Greenlandic families who have been forced to separate from their children since 1996. It is also noted that Greenlandic children who were separated from their families in the past could demand an apology or compensation from the Danish state.
