In Erzurum, a 26-year-old man, S.T., learned that his wife, with whom he was in the process of divorcing, had opened an Instagram account. He then opened fire on his father-in-law's house with a shotgun. The attacker was taken into custody, and the incident was captured on camera.

The terrifying events unfolded in the early morning hours in the Palandöken district of Erzurum. S.T. (26) learned that his wife, F.T. (25), with whom he was divorcing, had opened an Instagram account. Reacting to this, S.T. took a shotgun and went to his father-in-law's house in the building on Türbe Road, where his wife was staying.

**HE SPREAD TERROR WITH A SHOTGUN**

Entering the building's grounds, S.T. fired four shots at the apartment on the first floor of the seven-story building where his wife was located. The pellets hit the balcony window and the window of one of the rooms. At that moment, M.T. arrived at the scene and tried to calm his son and take the shotgun from him.

ARRESTED

Upon seeing the police officers who were dispatched to the address following a tip-off, S.T. fled. Teams cordoned off the area and apprehended S.T. on Afşar Street with the shotgun used in the crime. S.T. was taken into custody, while crime scene investigation teams found three empty cartridges in the site's garden.

Meanwhile, the incident was recorded by citizens on their mobile phones. The footage shows S.T. firing at the apartment where his wife was, and his father attempting to stop him.
