A convicted prisoner was caught using his deceased brother's identity

In Buca district of Izmir, a convict with a confirmed prison sentence of 11 years and 8 months was apprehended in a police operation at a bridal shop where she worked, using an identity card belonging to her deceased brother.

POLICE TRACKED DOWN WANTED PERSONS

Teams from the District Police Department's Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau tracked down the suspect as part of their ongoing efforts to apprehend wanted individuals.

OPERATION AT THE BRIDAL SHOP

Gülden Ç., 54, who had a confirmed prison sentence for "armed robbery by multiple persons at night," was taken into custody in an operation at the bridal shop where she worked in Gediz neighborhood.

FAKE IDENTITY CARD FOUND

A search of the suspect revealed an identity card belonging to her deceased brother.

It is believed she had been using the identity card for a long time.

Following the necessary procedures, the detained convict will be transferred to prison.
