The fire that broke out in a timber factory in Edirne has been brought under control

A fire that broke out at a timber factory in Edirne has been brought under control by fire crews.

The fire started for an as yet undetermined reason at a timber factory in Paşaköy, a village in the İpsala district.

Following a report, fire, medical, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. Fire crews from surrounding districts also provided support, and the fire was brought under control.

Cooling operations are ongoing.
