Nine suspects allegedly involved in an armed brawl have been detained

Nine suspects have been detained in connection with an armed brawl between two groups in Tarsus district of Mersin.

According to reports, the brawl, which involved the use of firearms, erupted yesterday near the Altaylılar neighborhood on the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep Highway. The two groups initially attacked each other with stones and sticks.

Police teams were dispatched to the scene and detained nine suspects.

The suspects are currently being processed at the District Police Department.
