He turned his mushroom hunting hobby into an export business

Tuncay Croatto, who lives in Edirne, started truffle hunting with trained dogs and gradually expanded his business into export. Bringing his experience from Italy to Turkey, Croatto quickly established a wide supply network, creating a remarkable success story.

Born in Italy in 1996 to an Italian father and a Turkish mother, Croatto became acquainted with truffles at a young age.

During his work experience in Italy, he recognized the potential in Turkey and returned to Edirne about five years ago to begin his operations in this field.
