Metin Çekiç's assessment of the fair and his election message

Metin Çekiç, Vice President of the Istanbul Mining Exporters Association (İMİB) and a candidate in the presidential elections to be held on April 30th, gave exclusive statements to Kanal 3 and Gazete 3.

Evaluating the Marble İzmir Natural Stone and Marble Fair, Çekiç highlighted the fair's importance for the sector, while noting that the wars in the Middle East negatively affected the number of participants. Despite this, he emphasized that the fair maintained its value in terms of international trade.

Speaking about the election process, Çekiç stated that if elected, they would approach the problems faced by producers with a solution-oriented mindset. He said they would take concrete steps to address the difficulties in the sector, adding that their biggest goal is to support producers.

Calling on all members to participate in the İMİB elections on April 30th, Metin Çekiç emphasized the importance of participation and invited everyone to the polls.
