Large scale protest Teachers kept waiting behind barricades for 10 hours

Following the school attacks in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş, thousands of teachers took to the streets in Ankara. The protest, which began at 10:00 AM, saw teachers held behind barricades for approximately 10 hours.

Thousands of teachers from all over Turkey came to Ankara, saying "enough is enough" to the successive school attacks. The teachers, who wanted to march to the Ministry of National Education, were met with a police barricade on Ziya Gökalp Street.

The protest, which began at 10:00 AM, saw teachers held behind barricades for approximately 10 hours.
