2 men hurt in Trenton shooting on Monday afternoon police say

Police in Mercer County are investigating a shooting that left two men hurt on Monday afternoon, according to the Trenton Police Department.

The shooting happened near the intersection of South Cook Avenue and Tioga Street around 4:10 p.m. on Monday, April 13, police said.

When officers responded to the scene, they found two men - identified as 20 and 26 years old - suffering from gunshot wounds, officials explained.

Both men were taken to a nearby hospital where they are listed in stable condition, police said.

Evidence markers were visible around the car.
