In Didim district of Aydın, police seized 195,900 tobacco-filled cigarette tubes and 86,800 empty cigarette tubes in an operation.

Of the three suspects detained in the operation, one was arrested. Teams from the Didim Office of the Aydın Provincial Police Department's Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch conducted a simultaneous anti-smuggling operation in the district yesterday. During the operation, 195,900 tobacco-filled cigarette tubes, 86,800 empty cigarette tubes, 49 kilograms of shredded tobacco, 1 cigarette rolling machine, 3 mobile phones, and 41 pistol cartridges were seized. M.A., Ö.B., and İ.Ö., who were detained in the operation, were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station. Of the three suspects, who were charged with violating the Anti-Smuggling Law, M.A. was arrested by the court, while the other two suspects were released.
