Inspections of products that threaten children's health have been tightened

The Ministry of Trade has intensified its inspections of products that threaten children's health. A recent inspection has resulted in a recall and sales ban for a toy model deemed risky.

An official announcement made through the Unsafe Product Information System (GÜBİS) stated that a toy model intended for children poses serious health risks. Detailed investigations conducted by expert teams within the Ministry confirmed that the product does not meet safety criteria and endangers children's safety.

In accordance with this decision, the sale of the Gramsci brand toy with model number Yu-13C has been completely banned. The Ministry has officially initiated the process to collect all existing samples of this unsafe product from the market. The report prepared after the inspections details the technical deficiencies that made the product risky and emphasizes the need for consumers to be aware of this issue.

These regular announcements through the Unsafe Product Information System allow citizens to check the reliability of the products they purchase. Authorities reiterated that market surveillance activities will continue uninterrupted and that no leniency will be shown to businesses that produce or sell substandard products.
