Heavy rain warning for these regions Temperatures are falling

According to the meteorological forecast for April 9th, Marmara, Aegean, western Inner Anatolia, Mediterranean, Western and Central Black Sea, Southeastern Anatolia, and southeastern Eastern Anatolia will experience thunderstorms and heavy rain.

The rainfall will be particularly heavy in southeastern Eastern Anatolia, eastern Southeastern Anatolia, Antalya, Osmaniye, Hatay, Tunceli, Bingöl, Ağrı, Muş, Erzurum, and Elazığ. Temperatures will drop by 4 to 6 degrees in the southern and western regions.

According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country as a whole is expected to be partly cloudy to very cloudy, with intermittent rainfall in all regions except the northern parts of Izmir. The precipitation will generally be rain and showers, with occasional thunderstorms in Southeastern Anatolia.

Mixed rain and snow, and even snow in some areas, are expected in the inland parts of the Eastern Black Sea region, the northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia, the inland parts of the Western Black Sea region from midday onwards, and the eastern part of Central Anatolia during the night.

The rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in southeastern Eastern Anatolia (excluding Van), eastern Southeastern Anatolia, western parts of Antalya, Osmaniye and Hatay, and from the evening onwards in Tunceli, Bingöl, Ağrı, Muş, southern parts of Erzurum, and Elazığ. There is a risk of icing and frost in the interior and eastern regions, as well as avalanches and snowmelt in the inland parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and in sloping areas with high snow cover in Eastern Anatolia.
