The heavy downpour that started around 23.15 in Tekirdağ's Süleymanpaşa district had a negative impact on daily life in the city.

The heavy rain, which took effect at night following meteorological warnings, was effective throughout the city in a short time. Citizens, who were unprepared for the sudden rain, took shelter under the eaves of their workplaces and in closed areas to protect themselves from the rain. As the rain increased, puddles formed in some streets and avenues in the city center. While drivers had difficulty moving forward, especially at points where vehicle traffic was heavy, traffic slowed down from time to time. Drivers had to proceed with their vehicles in a controlled manner due to the puddles that formed.

It was learned that the air temperature was approximately 17 degrees during the heavy rain. While cool weather prevailed in the city with the rain, it was observed that the wind also increased its effect from time to time.

Authorities warned citizens to be careful about sudden floods and possible negativities. According to meteorological data, it was stated that the rains may continue intermittently in the following hours.
