A SEVERE STORM BLEW THE ROOF OFF A HOUSE AND DAMAGED SIX VEHICLES

In Bartın, a house roof was blown off due to heavy rain and a storm that started in the evening. The flying debris damaged parked vehicles.

The storm, which struck around 11:12 PM with heavy rain, blew off the roof of the 5-story Şevki Birinciliği Apartment building in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi. Pieces of the roof damaged six vehicles parked in front of the building. Numerous police and fire crews were dispatched to the scene. No casualties or injuries were reported, and teams have begun assessing the damage.

The incident, which was also captured by a security camera in a nearby building, shows residents of the apartment building and surrounding buildings rushing outside after hearing a loud noise.
