FIVE SEPARATE WATER SOURCES EMERGE TO THE SURFACE YET THEY FLOW WITHOUT MIXING

The Ekşisu Recreation Area in Erzincan stands out with one of the world's rare natural formations. Five separate water sources with different characteristics emerge from the same point in the area, yet flow without mixing. In the Ekşisu region, sour water, sulfurous water, fresh water, hot water, and mineral water all surface in a narrow area, maintaining their chemical properties. Experts state that this is one of the rare natural formations on a global scale. Geological Engineer Selahattin Ayan stated that Ekşisu is a unique area globally, saying, "Five separate water sources with different characteristics are located side-by-side in a very small area."
