The wildfire in Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park has been extinguished
Authorities have been issuing warnings for months, even years, but no one is heeding them. A family picnicking and lighting a fire in Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park caused a wildfire. Ignoring warning signs placed in certain areas of the national park, the family lit a fire for their picnic, but did not extinguish it. Shortly after, smoke began rising from the forest in the Grand Canyon National Park area. The Arizona Fire Department extinguished the fire, and authorities announced that the family responsible for the fire in Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park was apprehended while attempting to flee.
