Last year, while I was in my senior year of university, my girlfriend and I went to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. We reached the Grand Canyon after traversing the scorching roads of Arizona in July, and we were practically overwhelmed by the heat. After having dinner at a restaurant, my girlfriend and I went down to the Colorado River bed and started swimming. But then something astonishing happened: the sky suddenly turned dark with clouds. The water in the Colorado River was still warm, and swimming in the river felt good to us.
