A dismembered male body was found during an investigation in the wooded area

A dismembered male body was found in a forested area in Adatepe neighborhood of Ceyhan district in Adana, following an investigation prompted by reports of a strong odor emanating from the area.

The body, which had no identification on it, was sent to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for determination of the cause of death and identification.

The incident occurred in the forest of Adatepe neighborhood in Ceyhan district.

Citizens reported a foul odor coming from the forest to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area.

While investigating the source of the odor, the gendarmerie teams found a dismembered male body. No identification was found on the body. The dismembered body was taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for determination of the cause of death and identification.
