In Adana's Yüreğir district, a man beat a stray dog with a stick, claiming it had eaten his dogs. Following the release of the footage, the man was taken into custody.
HE HIT THE DOG REPEATEDLY
The incident occurred in the Haydaroğlu neighborhood of Yüreğir district. Mehmet K. (41), who works as a security guard at a business, attacked a stray dog with a stick, claiming it had eaten his chickens.
HE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The moments when the suspect hit the dog with a stick were recorded by a bystander with a mobile phone camera. Following the emergence of the footage, motorized teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch took Mehmet K. into custody. The suspect is currently giving his statement at the police station.
