A Sweet Surprise for Children from Safranbolu Municipality

In Safranbolu, women's handcrafted sweets became a holiday gift for children. Specially prepared candy figures for April 23rd were presented to the little ones, creating colorful and sweet scenes.

Members of the Safranbolu Municipality Women's Counseling Center gifted specially designed sweets to the children attending the Safranbolu Municipality Nazmiye Yeşilyurt Daycare Center in honor of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

Members of the Safranbolu Municipality Women's Counseling Center carried out a special project to share the joy of the holiday with the children. Sugar paste snowman figures, prepared by trainees and volunteers, were gifted to the children, adding color to the April 23rd celebrations.

These "sugar snowmen," created with the dedicated efforts of the women, were given to the students of the Safranbolu Municipality Nazmiye Yeşilyurt Daycare Center. In this event, where women's labor added color to the children's world, the joy and happiness of April 23rd were reflected on the faces of the little ones.

In a statement regarding the matter, Safranbolu Mayor Architect Elif Köse said:

"Women's labor touches the hearts of children, leaving sweet memories. Members of the Safranbolu Municipality Women's Counseling Center shared the joy of the holiday with our students by gifting them snowmen made of candy. We thank our members for this meaningful work and congratulate all our children on the 23rd of April National Sovereignty and Children's Day."

The event concluded with students taking commemorative photos with their gifts.
