In Ataşehir, 26 students at a middle school were allegedly poisoned after eating chicken doner kebab from the school canteen. The students, complaining of abdominal pain and nausea, were taken to the hospital by ambulances that arrived at the school. An investigation has been launched by the Ataşehir District National Education Directorate regarding the incident.

According to DHA news agency, the incident occurred around 1:30 PM at a middle school located on Oruçlu Street in Mevlana Neighborhood. Allegedly, some students ate chicken doner kebab sold in the canteen. As a result, 26 students became ill with abdominal pain and nausea. Emergency medical and police teams arrived at the school after receiving a report.

26 CHILDREN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

The school was closed due to the incident, and 26 students, determined to have been poisoned, were taken to the hospital by ambulances. It was learned that the students receiving treatment at the hospital are not in life-threatening condition.
