In Lecton, lawyer and professor Marcelo Angriman presented his book, "Teacher Responsibility," a work that combines law and education to focus on accident prevention in sports and a culture of care. The event was declared of municipal interest in Neuquén.
The presentation of the book "Teacher's Responsibility ," by lawyer and physical education teacher Marcelo Angriman , became the focus of a day that combined legal reflection, educational debate, and cultural activity at Lecton , the bookstore of the Diario RÍO NEGRO.
The event, held this Friday, was declared of municipal interest by the Neuquén City Council, which highlighted the value of the work in a context marked by debates about safety in sports and school settings. The presentation not only brought together teachers and specialists, but also reinforced Lecton's role as a meeting place for the local cultural agenda.
In his book, Angriman analyzes the intersection of law and physical education , focusing on the responsibility of adults in charge of sports activities. One of the cases he presents to illustrate this complexity is that of 12-year-old Joaquín Gatto, who died after a soccer goal collapsed during a camp in Junín de los Andes.
The author cautioned that while the eventual passage of a law requiring goalposts to be fixed to the ground would be a step forward, it is insufficient on its own. “The need to resort to a law implies the failure of any educational effort. If we were a more developed society in this respect, the enactment of a legal regulation wouldn't be necessary,” he stated in an interview with this publication prior to the presentation.
