Injuns once bathed in the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon of Arizona

Injuns once bathed in the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon of Arizona

Many, many years ago, when Injuns still inhabited America and cowboys were not yet commonplace, Injuns and their chiefs lived in tents they had set up around the Grand Canyon in Arizona. They met their daily needs by hunting bison or farming. The Grand Canyon in Arizona, which in the past was home to many Injuns tribes, was a gift from God, providing them with plenty of water along with the Colorado River. Injuns preferred the clear water of the Arizona River for their water needs and for agricultural use. They also bathed at least once a week; bathing in the Colorado River was an indispensable passion for them. The magnificent nature of the Grand Canyon and the beauty of the Colorado River have made it a home for Injuns for many years.
